Purpose of the Role
The purpose of a barista at Wild Honey Coffee is to: FULL TIME & PART TIME NEEDED! HOURLY + TIPS!
· Craft high-quality, consistent, and professional beverages and food items to meet company standards.
· Deliver unparalleled service and foster a spirit of teamwork, creating a welcoming and uplifting atmosphere that reflects Wild Honey's mission and core values.

Key Responsibilities
Daily Tasks
· Prepare high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages to company standards.
· Operate espresso machines and other equipment confidently and safely.
· Provide exceptional customer service, including greeting customers, answering questions, and handling transactions.
· Perform table touches to engage with seated customers, ensuring satisfaction and offering assistance.
· Maintain a clean and organized workspace, regularly sanitizing surfaces and equipment.
· Complete shift-specific operational tasks, such as cleaning checklists and restocking supplies.
· Upsell seasonal specials or featured items to enhance the customer experience.
Unique Tasks & Expectations
· Study the menu, including recipes and ingredients, to make knowledgeable recommendations to customers.
· Promote seasonal specials and Wild Honey’s signature offerings, including items made with local wild honey.
· Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and company updates to ensure accurate service.
Skills & Qualifications
Essential Skills & Traits
· No prior barista experience required—training will be provided.
· Strong customer service skills, with the ability to create a welcoming experience for every customer.
· Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
· Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt.
Physical Requirements
· Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours per shift).
· Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds (e.g., inventory, equipment).
Customer Interaction
Baristas are the face of Wild Honey Coffee and play a key role in creating positive customer experiences by:
· Greeting every customer warmly as they approach the counter.
· Engaging in friendly conversation, especially when customers are waiting near the bar.
· Prioritizing customer interaction over coworker conversations during shifts.
· Performing table touches to check in on seated customers and saying goodbye as they leave to create a lasting positive impression.
