The team you will be a part ofCurrently, we are seeking qualified candidates for Product Marketing Senior Manager openings to join our Laundry Product team in the Product Marketing organization.This role in summaryThe Product Marketing Senior Manager is responsible for developing and executing Category Insights, Product Plans, Strategic Projects, and comprehensive marketing plans for the Whirlpool Corp. portfolio of brands. This person will work closely with consumer insights, brand marketing, merchandising, planning, global consumer design, platform engineering, advanced development, global sourcing, manufacturing and PLO to execute our five-year product roadmap and develop marketing content for new product launches. The Product Marketing Senior Manager is also responsible for understanding competitive activity and marketplace trends.Your responsibilities will includeDrive long-term product planning strategies and product launch excellence by understanding consumer needs and shopping behaviors connected to product design and aesthetics (First Moment of Truth), as well as product functional benefits (Second Moment of Truth) to create an effective marketing and sales plan.Harness consumer insights, shopper insights, purchase drivers, and other research to drive fact-based, consumer-driven product/feature tradeoff decisions that support brand positioning.Upgrade the product market message for current production models to improve overall market performance.Work with the finance team to develop and present project business cases including pro forma financials, capital requirements, and other financial and non-financial decision metrics.Act as the global marketing lead for advanced development project teams, coordinating voice of the consumer understanding across regions.Use data and metrics, competitive assessments, and forecasting to drive business strategy and decisions.Drive projects from Advanced Development to Production Project Readiness.Minimum requirementsBachelor’s degree5+ years experience in marketing, brand management, product management or similar discipline Preferred skills and experiencesBachelor’s degree in Marketing or similar related fieldMaster’s DegreeStrong leadership & communication skills, both written and verbal, plus the ability to perceive and present information both analytically and creativelyExcellent critical thinking, sound judgment and effective decision-making abilityProven success working in a fast-paced, complex matrixed environmentStrong strategic and analytical mindsetStrong business acumen with the ability to use insights to drive actionHighly collaborative with the ability to build solid working partnerships across functional groupsWhat we offerGenerous benefits package, Whirlpool employee discount, fitness & educational reimbursement programs, kitchenettes, and more!
