Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our construction team. This role requires experience in construction practices and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a variety of environments. The ideal candidate will carry out site preparation, assist with building tasks, operate tools and machinery, and support skilled tradespeople to ensure project success. Key Responsibilities Assist with site preparation, material handling, demolition, and cleanup activities Support carpenters, masons, electricians, plumbers, and other skilled trades with daily tasks Operate hand and power tools, machinery, and equipment safely and efficiently Measure, cut, and install materials such as wood, drywall, and concrete Mix, pour, and spread building materials as directed Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe, organized work area Interpret construction plans and instructions from supervisors Communicate effectively with team members on project progress and needs Perform other related duties as assigned by project supervisors Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Proven experience in construction or a similar laborer role Knowledge of construction tools, equipment, and materials Basic understanding of safety regulations and procedures Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and perform physical labor Good communication skills and teamwork abilities Reliable transportation to job sites Preferred Qualifications Vocational training or certifications in construction or related trades OSHA or other safety certifications Experience with specialized equipment or advanced construction techniques Bilingual skills for multi-language work environments Attention to detail and accuracy Physical stamina and endurance Problem-solving skills Adherence to deadlines Adaptability and willingness to learn new tasks Working Conditions Variable weather conditions Possible exposure to dust, noise, and hazardous materials (PPE provided) Full-time or project-based hours; overtime may be required Compensation Competitive hourly wage based on experience and expertise.
